A British couple (pictured above) became the world’s oldest newlyweds after tying the knot in June. The groom, 103-year-old George Kirby wed 91-year-old Doreen Luckie in front of 50 friends and family. Read more.

In 1946, Florence “Seesee” Rigney started working as a student nurse at the Tacoma General School of Nursing, then part of Tacoma General Hospital in Washington. Today, at age 90, she is the oldest working nurse and still serves patients at Tacoma General. Read more.

99-year-old Doreetha Daniels has witness the Civil Rights Movement, lived through two World Wars and survived the Great Depression, and on June 8, 2015, she added one other milestone event to the list. Dubbed The World’s Fittest Old Age Pensioner, 95-year-old Charles Eugster set the age group World Record in the indoor 200 meter sprint. Eugster has already shocked the sports world by continuing to successfully compete as an oarsman and bodybuilder.
